The Vietnam War radically changed how Americans view the military, returning veterans, and our political leadership.  Nearly 40 years after the end of US military involvement in Vietnam our country is still making efforts to properly welcome our troops home from the war.Join NYC veterans of the Vietnam War for a panel discussion about the stories that have come to dominate the way we think about them, and the personal narratives that may help to dispel some of the myths that surround them.

This panel will be moderated by Philip F. Napoli, author of Bringing It All Back Home:  An Oral History of New York City’s Vietnam Veterans.
